I hAvE a CoLd

This week I read “New Yorkers”.  This book contains some short stories. Today I will tell you about two stories in this book. About“The Christmas presents ”.Della and Jim had a tough life, but wanted to manage each other with the best Christmas gifts .  Della bought a golden watch chain for Jim with the money she got from selling her beautiful long hair. Jim bought a beautiful comb for Della. However, by the time he handed the present, Della's hair was already short.  Della was a little confused, but was delighted to see the beautiful present.  They lived in love and were poor and happy.   About“Soapy’s choice”.  Soapy is poor, so he plan to enter the prison and live in a warm room (prison).  For that reason, he try to get caught by the police by eating and drinking without money, throwing stones in the glass of the shop and talking to the woman, but for some reason he can not get caught.  He find myself at a beautiful church when he is at a loss, and he look back on his good m

     I want to make effective use of this period of refraining from going out.  What do you think about the coronavirus?  There are many people who feel lonely, such as being unable to go out, not seeing friends, not being able to shop, not being able to travel, not being able to see their grandparents.  However, even though everyone has such feelings. I think of the faces of the medical workers who work for us, the clerk of the convenience store, the people of the transportation company. We are able to live by being supported by such people. I want to thank them. When the Coronavirus disappears from the world, let's rejoice and applaud everyone in the world.  Meet your favorite friends and talk a lot while you miss them.  So, spend a lot of time in your house for yourself. This week I read “ANNE of GREEN GABLES”. It is a story that Anne, who lost her parents and became an orphan, is taken up by another family and raised .  Ann is an emotional girl who often cries about other people.  Anne is also good at studying and is exempt from tuition fees as an excellent student at a prestigious school.  I was very impressed by Anne who is doing her best for her family.   I like this story because it Made me feel like I'll do my best towards my dream I wrote down three quotes and will discuss them.  The first one is, “  It's been my experience that you can nearly always enjoy things if you make up your mind firmly that you will ”.  If I have such a core, I think I can enjoy anything without complaining.  I thought that this way of thinking also had a role like a self-development book.  The second one is “ True friends are always together in spirit ”.  In my daily life, I have had many worries about relationships with friends.  I would like to rec

This week I read “Robinson Crusoe”. It's a story about ab adventurer-like man who wrecked in the sea and lived alone on a deserted island for 28 years. I like this story because it makes me  think that people can live while learning even in difficult situations I wrote down three quotes and will discuss them.  The first one is, “Perhaps, one day, someone will help me when I need it". said by kind captain. He didn't want rewords for his help at all.  I think it's nice to have someone like him who is kind to people and doesn't ask for a reward.  I want to do so.  The second one is  “I was a rich man now, but what use was money to me? I could not buy anything with it”. After reading this article, I remember that money, which is very valuable to me, is completely worthless on an uninhabited island. I realized that what is valuable depends on the person and the case.    I want to recommend this book. There are two reasons.
