THE PIANO / OXFORD BOOKWORMS LIBRARY This week I read “THE PIANO”. This book is about an old pianist. He told the reporter his strange background at the 80-year-old memorial concert. He had never played the piano until he was 14 years old. But one time he put his finger on the keyboard, and for some reason he was able to play the piano. Although he grew up in a poor family and quit school, he discovered his piano talent and began his career. I like this story because I love music. And I play the piano too. I wrote down some quotes and will discuss them. The first one is, " He walked on to the stage and sat down at the big piano. The dark wood shone like glass. He could see his face in it. He turned round and looked at the sea of faces. He could not see the Wood family. ” Reading this part, I remembered playing at a piano recital. I like the expression “sea of the faces”.
