Batter Splatter!

"What was that?" asked the visitor.
She looked up at the ceiling but she couldn't see anything.
The children looked at each other.
Rhe Headteacher and Miss Drake looked at each other.
"Never mind," said the visitor.
"It's time for me to go now.
Thank you for the pancakes."
"I must sit down," said the Headteacher.
"I've got a bit of a headache.
"Never mind," said Ben. "Have a pancake."
The pancake batter splattered, the baked pancake flew away,
and it was funny that it failed many times over and over.
One of the charms of this book is its picture.  Very cute and interesting.
It is a book that you want to read more and more.
In the end, it was good because I did not notice that the batter of the pancake dripped on the heads of the important visitor.
